Many Christians would agree that the manifestation of the signs of the end of the age and of the coming of Christ are unfolding more and more, year by year, month by month...day by day. In the books of Matthew (Ch 24), Mark (Ch 13), and Luke (Ch 21), Jesus was very clear about the signs leading to the end of time as we know it. These signs include progressive increases in the frequency and intensity (like birth pains) of:
Many believe that at some point in time after the rapture (the catching up in the air of saints of God), the Antichrist, a charismatic, worldwide leader, master of intrigue, and representative of satan, will come to power. He will sign a peace treaty with Israel, which will mark the beginning of the tribulation period, a seven (7) year period of great distress for all of mankind.
In the midst of these seven years (after three and a half years of tribulation), the Antichrist will cancel his peace treaty with Israel, and will set himself up in the temple and proclaim to be the Messiah. The three and a half years following this cancellation of the treaty will be known as the Great Tribulation period- a time of great distress unequaled from the beginning of the world and never to be equaled again. In fact, these days will be so distressful that if they would not be cut short, no one would be able to survive them- Matthew 24:14-30.
During this last three and a half years prior to Jesus' second coming, the Antichrist's aim will be to gain power over the entire world. It will be extremely difficult for anyone to stand firm in his Christian faith because no one will be able to buy or sell anything (food, water, clothing, insurance, etc.) unless s/he takes the mark of the beast (666), and if people refuse to take the mark, they will risk losing their lives.
When the Antichrist steps in claiming to be the Messiah, those in Judea, which many believe represents "the household of faith all over the world", have been warned to flee to the mountains for safety. Daniel 11:41 states, "He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon." Many have identified the rose red city of Petra, located at the entrance to the ancient land of Edom, just 16 miles northwest of Ma'an in the southern part of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as this location where the Eternal will protect and provide food and water for His chosen people- the Jews- during the Great Tribulation.
It is believed that saints of God in other places throughout the world, must either fend for themselves or risk being amongst the fifty percent of the population that will die at the hands of the Antichrist or from war, famine, disease, and natural disasters. The aim of End Time Solutions is not to try to stop the inevitable end time events from occurring, but to prepare saints of God to keep watch and be ready for them.
In order for us to prepare for the things to come, there must be a paradigm shift in our attitudes from division and complacency to unity and concern. (Prayerfully it will not take a major catastrophe in order for this to happen).
Jesus told us to keep watch and be ready for the perilous times ahead and for His second coming (Mt. 24: 42-44). In order for us to be ready, however, we must first become concerned and united enough to get ready. Because no one knows the day or hour when these things will come, the time for us to keep watch and make preparations so we can be ready, for that great day, and the days leading up to that great day, when saints of God will meet together in the air to be with Jesus for our great family reunion in the sky, is NOW!
During family reunions, it is common for us to open our homes to out of town family members. We oftentimes go through great lengths to impress our guests as we remain watchful of, and ready for their arrival. We make sure our homes are spotless, linen fresh, refrigerators and essentials well stocked, meals prepared, and our children are typically well-informed of our behavioral expectations of them during our guest's visitations.
In the best of situations, our guests will give us, at a minimum, an estimated time of their arrival to our homes so that we can adequately prepare for their arrival. Sometimes, however, our family reunion guests may give us very little, if any, prior notice of their arrival, but unexpectedly show up on our doorsteps, leaving us no time to make preparations for them. Even when we have been given ample notification of our guest's estimated time of arrival, sometimes, out of our own complacency or unwillingness to unite with members of our household to prepare for their arrival, we fail to make suitable provision for them.
Although Jesus, Himself, is unaware of the day and hour of His appearing (Mark 13:32), and even though He was not required to give us one clue about the time He would be coming for His family reunion with us, He graciously gave us a clear estimated time of arrival by not only sharing ample signs of the perilous end times that would precede His coming, but also, solutions for us to prepare for and endure them.
When we are expecting guests to visit our home, our primary concerns are typically to make sure of the following:
"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the Master has put in charge of the servants in His household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose Master finds him doing so when He returns. I tell you the truth, He will put him in charge of all His possessions. But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, 'My Master is staying away a long time,' and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. The Master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect Him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth- Matthew 24:45-51.
Preparing to meet the physical needs of the household of faith in relation to natural disasters, famine, wars, diseases, flight routes to, and shelters in, the mountains, and food at the proper time- which is before they arrive- so they will be able to stand and lift up their heads when they see Jesus coming.
Performing housekeeping tasks to strengthen the household of faith so that Christians are standing firm, on guard, careful, praying, and not frightened, worried, anxious, or following false Christs. Also, keep ing watch at the door to ascertain that the house, and everyone inside, is safe from intruders.
He told them this parable: "Look at the fig tree and all the trees. When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near- Luke 21:29-31.
Keeping watch of the exponentially increasing signs of deceit, wars and rumors of war, national and kingdom divisions, natural disasters, famine, diseases, wickedness, hatred, persecutions of saints, false prophets, fearful events, spiritual complacency, the spread of the gospel throughout the world, and the introduction of the Antichrist, his mark, and his one world government.
